Enrolment

Only those admitted applicants who have completed their Master’s degree study programme and gained the corresponding academic title may be enrolled in the Doctoral study programme.

You will be informed about the exact date of enrolment by mail and on this website. For the actual enrolment, bring a certified copy of your Master’s degree certificate or a confirmation of the completed Master’s degree (graduates from Masaryk University can submit an uncertified copy), a valid identity card, and a pen.

Foreign nationals shall submit a certificate of education if the proof of education is issued abroad and the international treaty does not stipulate otherwise (this does not apply to citizens of the Slovak Republic). It is possible to authorise another person to accept the letter of acceptance to study and fulfil the enrolment process with a power of attorney (it does not need to be notary certified). It must be evident from the content of the power of attorney that the person is authorised to act as the principal for decision-making when assuming the acceptance to study and access and enrolment keys. The authorised person must have same documents as the applicant, with their own proof of identity. The required forms can be found in the section of Materials to Download.
