Our faculty could nominate candidates for the Jacques Derrida Prize in the Humanities and Social Sciences, jointly organized by the French Embassy and Mr. Michal Martinko. The purpose is to reward the best research work of Czech PhD students and recent PhD holders in the field of social sciences and humanities. The winners will have the opportunity to receive a financial contribution and an internship in a French research laboratory.
A special prize by CEFRES Platform is also awarded: Special Prize for the best scientific article in the social sciences and humanities published in a peer-reviewed journal. Information about this prize and the application procedure can be found here.
Please direct the complete submissions from the applicant to the Faculty Coordinator, doc. PhDr. Petr Dytrt, Ph.D., by 31 March 2023. The Faculty Management will then make a selection of the best nominees to be forwarded to the French organizer by 2 April 2023.
