You can also have unread articles emailed to you once a week. In addition, the Portal offers a number of other useful functionalities.
If you have not yet noticed the existence of the Masaryk University Employee Portal, we recommend it to your attention. It is a non-public website accessible to staff and Ph.D. students that brings together internal university information and guidelines, as well as various news sources, newsletters, previews of selected IS and Inet applications or university mail, and much more.
The faculty static content (top menu pages) is still in the process of being created. It will include information and instructions from dean's and service offices, structured according to individual agendas, analogous to the existing university-wide content. However, you can already see all faculty news sources produced by service offices in one place in the News app in the Portal:
You can turn on and off the subscription to individual news sources as you wish. In addition, the Portal filters essential information for you in the Don't Miss section. It also keeps track of whether or not you have read the articles and can optionally send you weekly notifications of unread articles from selected news sources directly to your email. You can set up this feature here.
More information about all the Portal's functionality can be found here. Please keep in mind that the Portal is still under development. If you have any questions or suggestions about its design and functioning, you can contact the faculty coordinator of the Portal, Mgr. Tomáš Weissar.
