HR Award – Find out what topics are related to gender equality in academia
The Nora Gender Information Centre offers on its YouTube channel a new series of short informative videos on this topic.
It will enable employees to receive updates on changes to internal regulations in a prompt manner and provide them with a place where they can conveniently refer back to any regulations.
While conducting a gap analysis as part of the preparation of the HR Award Action Plan, it was found that faculty employees are not sufficiently familiar with the internal faculty regulations and, above all, are not informed about their changes. Therefore, a measure was included in the Action Plan to facilitate the availability of this information and to set up a clear way of communicating it. The application in the MU Information System will be used for this purpose. In the first phase, it will be used to familiarise with the existing regulations, but subsequently, it will serve to inform about their changes.
The application will always send an e-mail to the users informing them of the need to get familiar with a given regulation and a link to enter the application. For each regulation, there is a brief description with an overview of the content of the document and links to additional information material. Once the user has familiarised himself with the regulation, he simply confirms his familiarisation by clicking on a button in the app. The regulations are available to users in the application even after this confirmation, so it is possible to return to them at any time if necessary and it is not necessary to search for the regulation on the Document Server.
These activities are supported by the Operational Programme Research, Development and Education in frame of the project “Development of Human Resources and other strategic areas to support research at MU (HR4MUII)“, nr. CZ.02.2.69/0.0/0.0/18_054/0014703.

Like the previous one, it will be used to create a new university-wide gender equality plan. In addition, the three-year gap will allow us to monitor how far we have progressed in this area.
