Popis In the middle of the second millennium BC, the areas of Brittany peninsula and Seine valley play a major role of producing centers. In the eastern peripheral regions, a large part of the metallic objects is considered as being Atlantic, showing strong relations between living populations of these areas. In the long-time established model, these eastern areas are considered as zones of diffusion of the Atlantic culture, implicating that indigenous populations have imported finished products from the shores of the Atlantic and the English Channel. This contribution proposes, through the presentation of very recent physicochemical and morphometrics analyses results, a redefinition of the cultural landscape and metal productions between the Channel and the Alps. In this new model, several production centers have coexisted within the same territory, showing strong economic and social relations. However, each of these productions have used its specific raw sources, models and know-how.
