| Popis | This article focuses on the history and development of the Epic of Jangar studies in Europe since the 18th century as a part of the larger field of Mongolian studies. A special attention is paid to first Mongolists dealing with the Epic of Jangar, Peter Simon Pallas and Benjamin Bergmann. |
