| Popis | In this conference contribution I presented the problematics of German language islands in Middle Slovakia. The presentation focused on the local dialect of the village of Malinova (Germ. Zeche). The main aim was to raise awareness of the language islands in Slovakia and of the declining population which leads to the vanishing of the local German dialects. |
