Popis	Arnest's Provincial statutes from the year 1349 represent the first codification of medieval church law issued in the territory of the historical Czech lands. Several of the total of 86 articles include rules of mat-rimonial law, prohibition of clerical concubinage and serious sexual offences. The aim of this paper is to introduce these offences and penalties imposed on their perpetrators.
